Grassfed Goat

Goats, like sheep and cattle, are ruminant animals, but unlike sheep and cattle, they tend to be forest creatures. They do not prosper as well as sheep and cattle grazing open pastures. This is because they prefer to eat woody plant species. If you woke up to find cattle, sheep and goats in your yard, the cattle would be eating your lawn, the sheep would be eating your flowers, and the goats would be eating your bushes. For this reason we graze the goats in the forests of White Oak Pastures, along with our hogs. These two species work best living in a symbiotic relationship with each other.
